SAT Writing Test Worries Disadvantaged Students
When more than 300,000 teenagers take the SAT college entrance exam this weekend, they will have to write an essay for the first time in the history of the test. The new focus on writing is causing anxiety, particularly among low income, minority and immigrant students in schools that haven't taught them how to write.
