Actress and Day to Day contributor Annabelle Gurwitch was fired two years ago by director Woody Allen. That event set her off on a mission to collect stories about other people getting fired — and now Gurwitch has turned those narratives into a wide-ranging artistic enterprise, including a new theater piece, devoted to the business of losing your job.
