Supreme Court Hears Consular-Access Case

The Supreme Court hears arguments on whether state and federal courts must enforce U.S. treaty obligations that ensure foreign nationals who are detained in U.S. prisons are permitted access to diplomats from their home country. The case before the court concerns a Mexican man on death row in Texas.
