American Insurance Group, one of the world's largest insurance companies and once a sure bet on Wall Street, is under investigation over a questionable transaction involving a company owned by Warren Buffet. It also recently acknowledged it was guilty of a broad range of improper accounting procedures dating back as far as 14 years, and its longtime chief, Hank Greenberg, was forced from office.
