Wal-Mart Tops Fortune 500 List

For the fourth year in a row, Wal-Mart tops the Fortune 500 list of the nation's largest companies. Other leaders include energy firms and metal producers, which benefited from global demand for fuel and raw materials. The Fortune 500, Fortune magazine's list of top American companies, hits the newsstands next week.
