U.N. Struggles with Congo Peacekeeping Mission

The largest United Nations peacekeeping mission in the world is in the Democratic Republic of Congo. But the almost 17,000 U.N. troops stationed there have been unable to halt the upsurge in violence that began late in 2004 between rival militias.
