Commentator Lester Kenyatta Spence isn't surprised that politicians are caught up in a fight over filibusters, but he is disappointed that the news media haven't done a better job in covering it. Spence is an assistant professor of political science and Afro-American Studies at Washington University in St. Louis and a columnist for AOL Black Voices.
