In 1977, film reviewer Tom Shales took a first look at Lucas' new SciFi flick. "Star Wars took $8 million and several years to bring off. But it's been brought off grandly. " Shales also noted: "A movie newcomer named Harrison Ford is especially impressive." This segment was originally broadcast on March 23, 1977.
