U.S. Job Growth Slows, Unemployment Down Slightly

The Labor Department announces that the U.S. economy added 78,000 jobs in May — the lowest percentage of jobs created in a monthly cycle in nearly two years. At the same time, unemployment dropped to 5.1 percent from 5.2 percent in April.
