Government Spending Hits New Low

We often hear about all the money being made in the booming economy of China. But apparently a restaurant in a small town in the north is making none of that money. Local government officials really like to visit a particular restaurant. They've run up a tab equivalent to $24,000. Unfortunately, the local government is broke. It will take 36 years to pay back the bill. In the meantime, the restaurant is bankrupt.
