Middle East Summit Between Sharon and Abbas

Earlier Tuesday in Jerusalem, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas held a summit to discuss security concerns in the lead-up to Israel's pullout from Gaza later this summer. This was the leaders' first face-to-face meeting since February and came during a fresh wave of violence.
