Patricia Harrison has been chosen to head the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. To protest the choice, Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Byron Dorgan wrote to CPB board chairman Kenneth Tomlinson. In it, the two Democrats called the appointment of Harrison, a former co-chair of the Republican Party, as too political for the post.
