Boeing names James McNerny as the aerospace company's new CEO. McNerny has been the chairman and CEO of 3M. He earlier ran General Electric's jet engine unit and has served on the Boeing board since 2001. Boeing is tapping an outsider with aviation experience to help repair the company's reputation in the wake of a series of scandals.
