One thing about dying — you don't have to have your dinner interrupted by telemarketers. The Direct Marketing Association has created a deceased do-not-call list. It allows the dead to be removed from its phone and direct mail lists. And it costs a dollar. Telemarketers say the fee goes towards verifying that the person has really passed away. And not just faking death in order to avoid those annoying calls.
