Yet somehow she manages to keep up a real life at home, with her pianist husband Kevin Murphy, and their four young children.

Performance Today presents Heidi Grant Murphy in a recital at Lincoln Center during an afternoon devoted to the works of Franz Schubert. She sings "Du bist die Ruh," D. 776, accompanied by her husband.

We follow her performance with Schubert's Piano Trio in E Flat. The performers are violinist Cho-Liang Lin, cellist Gary Hoffman, and pianist Andre-Michel Schub of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.
