All waltzes are not created equal. Various members of the Strauss family churned out hundreds of short waltzes in 19th-century Vienna. But Jean Sibelius' Valse Triste is a concert waltz overlaid with Finnish sensibilities. Mariss Jansons conducts the Vienna Philharmonic.
