It's summer festival time again. Performance Today goes on the road for the next eight days to visit two key American music festivals, the Aspen Music Festival and La Jolla SummerFest. We start in the mountains of Colorado with music from Aspen.

Host Fred Child is on stage at Harris Hall with 10-year-old violinist Anna Lee and pianist Jennie Jung. Child talks with Anna Lee about her start on the violin.

Then we hear Lee and Jung play the first movement of the Violin Concerto No. 1, Op. 14 by Henryk Wieniawski.
