Missouri Butter Artist Sets Ground Rules

For her creations at the Missouri State Fair — Susan Lawrence has some fast rules. No margarine. No whipped. Only regular plain butter will do for her little cows and calves. No, She doesn't feed them butter. She sculpts them in butter. And — to avoid butter fingers (and protect any lurking tasters who might pass by) — sculptor Lawrence always washes her hands first.
