San Francisco puts off a plan to turn summer into winter. A company that makes ski wax, wanted to import 200 tons of snow to make a ski ramp on a steep city street. Residents resisted. Some said they might be snowed in, while a bride said her wedding could be ruined. So the mayor has stopped the plan, at least for now.
