Scarlatti

Audio for this story from Performance Today is not available.

We hear from a famous Finn, pianist Olli Mustonen. In between composing and directing the Helsinki Festival Orchestra and the Tapiola Sinfonietta, Mustonen tours as a concert pianist. Mustonen played a recital at the 92nd Street Y in New York earlier this year. He finished the first half with two Scarlatti Sonatas, in A flat, K. 127, and in E, K. 380.
