Tchaikovsky was as eloquent a writer as he was a composer. Hear excerpts from letters to his brother Modeste, and a performance of his Romeo and Juliet Fantasy by young musicians who are about the ages Romeo and Juliet were in the play. They're students at the Music Academy of the West, conducted by Alexander Lazarev.
