David Smith can now claim what appears to be a first in international travel: over the weekend, he was shot from a cannon across a border. The human cannonball was launched from Tijuana and landed in a net 150 feet across the border in San Diego. He'd already gotten permission from the U.S. Border Patrol, but just in case Smith showed his passport from the barrel of the cannon
