Bush Taps Roberts to Serve as Chief Justice

President Bush nominates John Roberts to succeed William H. Rehnquist as U.S. chief justice. Some Democratic groups have organized against Roberts, previously nominated to succeed retiring Associate Justice Sandra Day O'Connor. But his candidacy to serve on the court has been well accepted in the Senate. Hear NPR's Cokie Roberts.
