His latest release, Chavez Ravine, is a concept album dealing with the demise of the Mexican-American Los Angeles neighborhood of Chavez Ravine. The area was irrevocably transformed by the arrival of the Los Angeles Dodgers stadium.
Based in Philadelphia, WXPN takes listeners on a journey of music discovery through new and heritage rock, blues, roots, and folk artists. WXPN also produces NPR's World Cafe.
