Automaker Offers Free Gas with Car Purchase

As American automakers give discounts on their cars, Mitsubishi is offering help with one of the soaring expenses of owning a car. The company is offering a year of free gasoline. Anybody who buys one of the company's 2005 model cars gets a pre-paid debit card good for between $1,500 and $2,500. Then you just have to hope that's enough to last the year as fuel prices keep climbing.
