Are the Saints Really 'America's Team'?

The NFL's suddenly homeless New Orleans Saints are being dubbed "America's Team," even though their semi-official home is at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Commentator Siddhartha Mitter, a Boston-based writer on politics and culture, dismisses the idea as nothing more than a marketing ploy.
