Political Parties Spar Over Proposed Gas Act

In the wake of Hurricane Katrina and the spike in gasoline prices, Republicans in the House are pushing a bill that would spur construction of new refineries. But Democrats say it's just a concession to the oil companies that would not lower prices -- but would hurt the environment.
