October 14, 2005Roger Waters, a founding member of Pink Floyd, has released an opera about the French Revolution, titled ça Ira. The album is based on Etienne Roda-Gil's or'ginal French libretto.

The two-disc album, which entered the Billboard classical chart at Number 1, features work by opera stars like Bryn Terfel, Paul Groves, and Ying Huang.

There are plans to stage the opera in November in Rome.
