Molly Jenson is a singer, songwriter from San Diego who cites Sheryl Crow, Mazzy Star and Rufus Wainwright among her musical influences. Though she's only been writing and recording songs for a couple of years, her debut CD, Maybe Tomorrow, sounds like the work of a seasoned professional. It's a well-produced, intimate collection of carefree pop-rock tunes. Our featured track is "Alongside You."

Jenson decided to start writing songs when a friend and musician in her hometown of San Diego, Greg Laswell, invited her to record an album with him. "(I) thought the idea was crazy but said yes anyway," Jenson says.

These days Jenson says she's touring local clubs, trying to find an audience for her work. “My goal right now is to just play as many shows as possible.”
