Goldfinches are a common sight in the woodsy area surrounding Spivey Hall in Atlanta. And they were a common sight for Antonio Vivaldi, who reflected their song in a flute concerto he named after the Goldfinch. In concert at Spivey Hall, the Venice Baroque Orchestra plays that concerto, with flutist Michele Favaro.
