Senate Begins Inquiry on Abramoff Lobbying Activities

The Senate Indian Affairs Committee begins long-awaited hearings into the activities of influential Republican lobbyist Jack Abramoff. The proceedings focus on allegations of wrongdoing by Abramoff in multimillion-dollar deals with six Indian tribes.
