Deadline Reached for Global Tobacco Treaty

Public health advocates are urging support for a treaty meant to reduce smoking around the world. The deadline for ratifying it is Tuesday, and 100 countries have done so. The United States signed the document two years ago, but never submitted it to the Senate for ratification.
