Defining 'Resistance' in the Iraq Context

Various groups from Iraq have wrapped up a meeting in Cairo laying the groundwork for a reconciliation conference to take place next year. A letter issued after the talks acknowledged that some form of resistance to occupation is legitimate — without defining "resistance" clearly. Hasan Fatah of The New York Times covered the conference in Cairo and discusses the outcome.
