Audio for this story from Performance Today is not available.

The horn in Mozart's time was significantly different from the instrument we know today as the French horn. William Caballero is the principal horn player of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. He weighs in on the mechanics of the horn in Mozart's day. And horn player Olivier Darbellay joins the Romanian Radio Chamber Orchestra and conductor Horia Andrescu for a performance of Mozart's Horn Concerto No. 4.
