Turkey Day in Outer Space
Astronauts on the International Space Station are taking Thursday off to celebrate Thanksgiving. And they are planning an old-fashioned holiday meal. For dinner, they'll feast on irradiated smoked turkey, dehydrated green beans and a yummy thermo-stabilized cranberry-apple dessert. And don't think the crew hasn't started thinking about Christmas: All week, they've been preparing for a Christmas-time shipment of supplies.
