House Reauthorizes Parts of Patriot Act

The House of Representatives votes 251-174 to reauthorize parts of the USA Patriot Act due to expire at the end of the year. But the future of the legislation remains uncertain as members of the Senate prepare for a possible filibuster. Critics question the act's long-term impact on civil liberties.
