Mozart at his most playful comes out in his mature operas. The Magic Flute has sillinesses all the way through, sprinkled in among the brilliance and maturity. Here's one example of Mozart's incredible wit. Papageno and Papagena sing their famous duet from The Magic Flute; they are Andreas Schmidt and Catherine Pierard, with The London Classical Players, conducted by Sir Roger Norrington.
