Damon Reaches Tentative Deal with Yankees

Boston Red Sox center fielder Johnny Damon has reportedly accepted a four-year, $52-million contract to join the New York Yankees. The agreement is not yet final, and Damon must pass a physical before officially becoming a Yankee, but baseball officials say the deal could be completed this week.
