We're devoting this hour of Performance Today to music inspired by the words of Denmark's most famous writer, who happens to be celebrating a 200th birthday in 2005: Hans Christian Andersen. But we begin with the opposite: music that inspired Andersen. Livia Rev plays Felix Mendelssohn's Song Without Words, Op. 30, No. 7.
