Cecilia Bartoli has been on tour recently, singing music from 18th century Italy with the Orchestra La Scintilla of the Zurich Opera. From an appearance in Boston, we hear the orchestra in the overture to "Santa Francesca Romana" by Antonio Caldara. Then Bartoli sings "Vanne Pentita," from another Caldara oratorio, "The Triumph of Innocence."
