Commentator David Brown offers this appreciation of the campy television show Batman, which premiered on ABC on this day 40 years ago. Brown says for people his age, who were little kids at the time, the Dynamic Duo were larger-than-life superheroes. And, 40 years later, he still appreciates the show's absurdist brilliance.
