Not all spirituals are old and traditional. "Keep It on a Movin' to the Promise Land" is a new spiritual written and performed by jazz violinist Lesa Terry. She's joined by percussionist Myungo Jackson, along with a crew of friends providing hand claps. Ysaye Barnwell, leader of Sweet Honey in the Rock, is the vocalist.
