To many, con man-turned-actor Anderson remains best known as Judge Harry Stone from the NBC comedy series Night Court. A new DVD collection of the show's first season is out now on Warner Home Video. Anderson began his career as a street performer. He eventually drifted to San Francisco, where he performed near Fisherman's Warf and to lines of moviegoers.

Upon moving to Las Vegas, he opened for Kenny Rogers. Anderson also put his cons and schemes into a book, Games You Can't Lose: A Guide for Suckers.

This interview originally aired on May 5, 1989.
