Angela Hewitt has been called "the pre-eminent Bach pianist of our time." Having recently completed a 10-year project to record all of the major keyboard works by Bach, Hewitt's concert programs are beginning to include more music by other composers. In a performance she gave last summer in Langeland, Denmark, Hewitt played Two Preludes and Fugues, Op. 35, by Felix Mendelssohn.
