The Rise of Nouveaux Nawabs in India

India's economy is opening up — and booming. As more and more Indians find themselves with disposable income, they are also increasingly able to buy just about anything, including once-scarce luxury goods. While deep pockets of poverty still exist throughout the country, it's hard to ignore the current crop of the newly minted rich.
