Prisoners Discover Peanut Butter's Practical Side
Tennessee prison officials have found out why so many convicts had a hankering for peanut butter. There were thousands of peanut butter jars in the prison system. Prison officials tell the Nashville Tennesseean that inmates used 18-ounce jars of peanut butter to hide drugs or guns. One prisoner even used a peanut butter jar to hide the cell phone he used to coordinate his escape. The big jars are now being replaced by small condiment packets.
