The one thing you can say for certain about classical music is that it's all fair game. Arrangements, transcriptions, variations — they're all means of recycling good material. The U.S. Marine Band borrows a couple of Bach creations for a concert in Bethesda, Maryland. They play the Sinfonia from Cantata No. 29, and Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring. Leonard Slatkin conducts.
