The Rocketboom Theme

The Rocketboom intro music is "Zoom a Little Zoom," from an album called Space Songs with Tom Glazer, a popular 1940's folk musician. You can hear the song here.

After Katrina

On Sep. 1, 2005, just after Hurricane Katrina hit, Rocketboom presented a dramatic segment that featured host Amanda Congdon acting in the roles of survivors of the disaster. After saying that the video upset many people in its audience, Rocketboom removed it from its usual place in the site's archives.
