Dohnanyi

"Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" and "Baa-Baa Black Sheep" are just two of the ditties that have evolved from a famous old French folk song. Mozart wrote a set of variations on it, and so did Erno Dohnanyi, 130 years later. Anton Nel is the pianist in Dohnanyi's witty "Variations on a Nursery Song." Federico Cortese leads the Aspen Concert Orchestra, at the Aspen Music Festival.
