In the age of Bach, counterpoint was the musical equivalent of alchemy. Harpsichordist Masaaki Suzuki and The Bach Collegium Japan presented a golden performance of Bach's Harpsichord Concerto in D Minor, BWV 1052, at the Boston Early Music Festival.
